Visual Communication Lab, IBM
Visualization is traditionally viewed as an efficient way of transferring a large amount of information from a database into an individual's head. IBM believe that visualizations become even more powerful when multiple people access them for collaborative sense making. By building graphical displays that spark the exchange of ideas and insights, we investigate the social and communicative value of information visualization.
